A 90-foot cone at the Museum of Glass houses
a glass studio called a Hot Shop Amphitheater.
The resident team of glass blowers demonstrate
the intriguing process of creating studio
works on the amphitheater stage. Artists
from around the world are invited to work
with the resident team to make glass one
of the most exhilarating media in the art
world today. Enjoy an architectural tour
of the Museum including Chihuly's Bridge
of Glass, a 500-foot long pedestrian overpass
which links the museum to downtown Tacoma.
The bridge will take pedestrians through
a tunnel of brilliant light and color created
by Chihuly's glass forms. MEMBERS REGISTER
